On any given day you can expect to see a wide-variety birds. Hawks and eagles soar high overhead, Great blue heron fish the river and backwaters alongside kingfisher and osprey. Hummingbirds feed on the wild clematis, nighthawks and swallows pluck insects from the sky. A variety of waterfowl such as teal, mallards, and goldeneye whistle by with occasional quacks.
